17:48 <Loqi> oeyvind: aaronpk left you a message 1 day, 10 hours ago: did you make sure to subscribe your anonymous users to that layer?
17:50 <oeyvind> aaronpk: I did subscribe the anonymous user to a layer. My point is, I was able to get the callback for the anonymous user when doing a /location/update with a curl script, but not when relying on the app. I see in the debug view that /location/update requests are being sent in
17:50 <oeyvind> also, when calling /location/last for that anonymous user I can see location is updated
17:51 <oeyvind> my ONLY conclusion is that geoloqi chooses to do a callback when it gets my curl script with location update but not when using the sdk
17:51 <oeyvind> we've travelled around A LOT with the app and it's been outside and inside the place objects in the layer many times

17:52 <oeyvind> I can provide you with sample data so you can have a look
17:52 <oeyvind> we tried to send an email to support but the guy who looked at it came back with something rather hopeless
17:52 <oeyvind> it's taking really long to get a response from you guys and it's really holding us back
17:53 <oeyvind> our help desk request number is esrigeotrigger.zendesk.com/requests/898

21:32 <aaronpk> oeyvind: I think I know the problem
21:32 <aaronpk> I just checked the triggers for your layer
21:33 <aaronpk> the radius on them is ridiculously tiny. You have radius values from 0.002 to a max of 5.
21:34 <aaronpk> this is in meters, which means your smallest trigger is 2 millimeters
21:35 <aaronpk> in your curl examples, you're sending a location update at the exact location of the center of the trigger, so it fires no problem
21:35 <aaronpk> but the phones of course send other values, and even if they're really close, they're not within 2mm of your triggers
21:36 <aaronpk> so, the solution is basically to make your triggers larger. we recommend a minimum of 50 meters in realtime/fine mode.

21:37 <aaronpk> you can do that by running trigger/update on them and just setting a new radius
21:38 <oeyvind> aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
21:38 <oeyvind> that makes a whole lot of sense
21:39 <oeyvind> THANKS A LOT!!!! will try this out!

21:41 <aaronpk> cool! took me an embarrasingly long time to realize that's what the problem was
