14:34 <urbild> I just found this geoloqi (and I am new to android development), so I need to ask some basic questions about it.
14:36 <urbild> What does the Android SDK sample do out of the box, if I were to merely plug in my client ID and secret, and push account?
14:49 <aaronpk> you will be able to get notifications when the phone enters or leaves certain places that you can set up
14:52 <urbild> Is there a default layer it subscribes to or do I need to add that part in?
14:53 <aaronpk> if you sign in as your own geoloqi account it will be subscribde to your default layer, so if you go to the map page you can create geonotes there
14:54 <aaronpk> but if you use anonymous accounts, the phone will make an account when it first starts up and you'd need to subscribe it to a layer
14:56 <urbild> Ok that is what I figured, I will just try testing it out with my default account layer first.
14:57 <urbild> I noticed on the website you can set triggers in timeframes, do those work with the sdk?
15:02 <urbild> Ok thanks! I will try testing it out before I ask more questions. ;)

15:09 <aaronpk> make sure to set your c2dm sender ID to your own email, I think it's set to ours in the example
15:24 <urbild> If I left a geonote on a place with a radius that covers my entire city, it would trigger every time I start up the app?
15:24 <aaronpk> no, you'd have to leave the city and come back first

17:10 <urbild> Okay I got the geonotes working with Android SDK, but the push notifications show up as emails. Is that normal?
17:11 <aaronpk> for your own account, yes. you should also be getting android push messages if you've set up your c2dm account properly on the website and the phone
17:20 <aaronpk> heading out, back online later!
17:21 <urbild> Okay thanks for the help so far.
