Is it possible to fire trigger on locations which are created by web app n notify using Android app?

I want to create web app using it i ll create some triggers by sending lat,lng. I also create Android app. now when user enter into one of pre defined regions i want to notify him.is it possible? if possible how can i do it?Note:I dont want to create trigger using Android app.

Yes, this is certainly possible. Most of our sample apps work this way. Please see the DinoDeals app as a reference. https://github.com/geoloqi/DinoDealsThis app has a small web server which creates the triggers, and the phone simply subscribes to the layer that has those triggers. I believe this is what you are looking for.

Thanks aaronpk for reply,I ve created server app n created layer using javascript API with current location.also created android app n subscribed to that layer but onPushMessageReceived() is not called.I created receiver class by extend LQBroadcastReceiver class.

Hi Triston,I ve created layer and attached some triggers to that layer using Javascript API.I ve subscried through Android app to that layer successfully.but none of the callback methods are called(LQBroadcastReceiver).what is the reason?

You were able to trigger the callback manually with the 'message/send' API endpoint correct?
It could be that your triggers are too small to be caught by the Android device. What radius have you set your triggers to?

Yes I am able to send manually 'message/send'....i ve created triggers with 300 radius...

Have you tried putting the device in the higher-accuracy "Logging" profile? I would try testing the triggers in that mode and make sure they're working. Let us know if that works and we can then help you troubleshoot further.

You might also give the trigger/run/:id API endpoint a try for testing your triggers.
