Concerned that Geoloqi's own app, Geonotes, does not work well

I have been in the designing phase of development and now I'm ready to start actually developing it. I was planning on using Geoloqi's API but I have tested Geonotes on 3 different phones (iPhone 5, GS3, and Galaxy Note 2) each with 3 Geonotes and I only had 1 actually work. This is really concerning if the app that Geoloqi has developed itself doesn't work.
I don't know what kind of response I am looking for but maybe someone can help. Maybe there was an outage of some kind, I'm not sure, but I was really looking forward to using Geoloqi and have a big part of my app based around it.
