message/send works, trigger/run/:id doesn't (only on android)... and then it does again!

I'm having problems with receiving triggers on android. It worked a day ago, and then it stopped, and now it works again.

Sanity checks:

1. everything works fine on iOS

2. the user is verified to be subscribed to the layer

3. the trigger is verified to be subscribed to the layer

4. the trigger is not one_time

5. message/send works with the android client

6. trigger/run/id does not fire on android client.

(update: and then it works again!)

What causes this? could it be something I did without noticing? Are there problems somewhere at Geoloqi?
