11:29 <tlecouffe> couple 'quick' questions, is there an example out there on github of a Titanium app handling signups e.g. OAuth with Twitter, Foursquare and Facebook? and can I use OAuth to subscribe to a layer, or do I need to create a geoloqi user to do that in my app?
11:39 <aaronpk> that code is messy cause it's ful of obj-c stuff, but the basic idea is this:
11:40 <aaronpk> do the twitter/facebook/foursquare login as you normally would, and after the auth returns, go make a geoloqi account with the external user ID as the "key" for the user (see user/create_anon)
11:40 <aaronpk> and every time they do the auth, they will get back the same user account

11:42 <tlecouffe> You can't see it, but an actual lightbulb just illuminated over my head :) Thanks Aaron!

22:28 <tlecouffe> hi there! I'm trying to test/debug my app and triggers I've created by manually updating location using location/update. I've basically taken the JSON example here http://developers.geoloqi.com/api/location/update and tweaked it to the coords of my trigger, however I keep getting an error illegal character in path at the position where my JSON string starts... and I'm wondering if I'm using this method correctly or if there's an
22:29 <aaronpk> tlecouffe: is the error coming from the API or from your client code?
22:30 <tlecouffe> from the API
22:30 <aaronpk> you might check out our location simulator, it is what we use for testing triggers https://github.com/geoloqi/location-simulator
22:31 <aaronpk> it works by re-playing a chunk of history back into the API
22:31 <aaronpk> so you can go bike around and record some data wherever you need, and then download it and re-run it
22:34 <tlecouffe> that definitely might come in handy. I did notice that simulator earlier.
