12:34 <@vruba> Thinkin' 'bout those robots. And @adamdicarlo. http://t.co/kNWpjpKZ
13:32 <Wraithan> aaronpk: ping
13:32 <aaronpk> pong
13:33 <Wraithan> aaronpk: so from a layer my buttons should a ajaxy right?
13:33 <Wraithan> so they stay on the layer?
13:33 <aaronpk> the web page in the app?
13:33 <Wraithan> In a geoloqi layer
13:34 <aaronpk> it'll work best that way, although technically you could load a different page
13:34 <Wraithan> Going to also have a mobile webpage, but was thinking a layer makes more sense, then you can see the points it is going to send when you hit finish.
13:34 <Wraithan> From the layer do I have access to their username/user_id ?
13:35 <aaronpk> you can use the Geoloqi javascript client if you need to make API calls from within the layer page
13:35 <Wraithan> I'd be making calls to my service
13:35 <caseorganic> Could have a webpage too that has a button that allows you to subscribe to the Geoloqi layer.
13:36 <Wraithan> oh, but to get the profile stuff I guess I'd use the Geoloqi javascript client
13:36 <aaronpk> if your layer is registered as an app (a manual request right now) then it will actually start the oauth process when you visit the layer tab. Your web page will get back the auth code which you can use to get an access token
13:36 <Wraithan> k
13:36 <Wraithan> Hmm, I think I need to talk this out in person a bit... I have a couple concerns
13:37 <Wraithan> some oauth2 based, some architecture
13:37 <aaronpk> Sure thing, that'd be best. I need to double check this part of the system too since we made some changes moving to the new website.
13:37 <Wraithan> is going to go forth in building it as a mobile webpage until the next time we hang out
13:56 <Wraithan> that is what I have in mind for the layer
13:57 <Wraithan> aaronpk: ^
13:57 <Wraithan> goes back to hacking together a page that looks like that but isn't a layer with a map and stuff

14:13 <aaronpk> Wraithan: that's actually a really awesome use case for the layer tab
14:13 <Wraithan> doesn't know about layer tabs
14:13 <Wraithan> I should install geoloqi on my ipad so I can at least look at the interface
14:14 <Wraithan> needs a new phone bad
14:14 <Loqi> agreed.
14:14 <Wraithan> or carry around nexus one
14:14 <aaronpk> ah yea put it on the ipad, good thinking

16:12 <@mightythylacine> Let's see how well this works: Track me on Geoloqi! http://t.co/bbxuFurM
16:12 <Wraithan> full on geoloqi based login working, using django's builtin auth stuff
16:12 <Wraithan> weee
16:14 <aaronpk> w00t
16:14 <Loqi> woot
16:20 <Wraithan> aaronpk: where are the icons and stuff I can use in my own apps
16:20 <Wraithan> can't find a page on your site with them
16:22 <Wraithan> is just going to jack images that he needs until there is a official set
16:22 <aaronpk> oh good thinking, I'm not sure where that went
16:23 <Wraithan> bah you use sprites
16:23 <Wraithan> lol
16:25 <aaronpk> haha yea
18:04 <Wraithan> this iteration is going well
18:05 <Wraithan> Hoping that I'll have it all built out by the time I see you next to workout how the layer should work, so I can just hook into existing functions
20:00 <aaronpk> awesome!
20:18 <@phubbard> Time to try geoloqi. http://t.co/o58Lz9Tq
